Jeff was born and raised in Northeast Nebraska. He grew up in Jackson and graduated from Ponca High School. He began his career with State Farm in 2017 and opened the doors to the Jeff Markworth State Farm Agency in 2021. He is a second generation State Farm Agent and comes from a State Farm Family. His father, four brothers, and two sisters, all work with State Farm. He will tell you "I absolutely love what I do! I get to help people every day - from car accidents to house fires, saving for college to planning for the future. I help our customers with all aspects of their financial lives and provide peace, hope and a partner to our customers and community."
Outside of work Jeff enjoys spending time with his family. "My wonderful wife Natali and I have been married for 5 years!" Natali is from South Sioux City, but loves the connected community and support a town like Wayne offers. Natali loves theater, singing, and all things artistic. Natali is a leading coordinator of "New Stage Players," the Bi-lingual South Sioux City theater program. "We have two lovely children, Jeffrey (5) and Antonia (2). We love spending time as a family playing music, dancing, reading, traveling, being goof balls, and exploring the outdoors of Northeast Nebraska. Everyday is an adventure!"
Jeff has been an member of the Wayne Rotary since 2021 and currently serves as an active member on the board of directors for the non-profit "Women Aware of Siouxland".
